This book is about post apocalyptic science fiction B-movies from the 20th century.
During the cold war period there was huge output of low budget action movie productions, with an easy formula: Take a renegade biker gang, a cyborg or a mutant, add some gloomy synthesizer sounds and spice the whole package up with some big boobs. The book feature some essays about the genre, a complete encyclopedia and the lost logbook of Tex.

I redesigned some VHS-covers of the movies, being inspired by blank VHS tapes. The encyclopedia has all movies ordered according to their fictional date.
This typeface is called GT Symphisis. Its a revival of an old dot-matrix font I've found in a journal.
